Happy 2019!

Enduring Communities is about to celebrate 6 years of partnership with Kito Community School in rural Uganda!

With the start of 2019, we are excited to announce that we are revamping our student sponsorship program in order to further support more of our students. We are looking forward to this next step, and hope that it will highlight our amazing student’s stories, and provide consistent support for their education.

Throughout our partnership with Kito Community School, we have never turned away a child based on their inability to pay. Like most private schools in Uganda, we charge a small school fee to help off set school costs. However, because of the poverty in the area, only around 10% of our students can pay the full amount, and many cannot afford to pay it at all.

To continue this tradition of supporting all of the children in the community, we are seeking to connect our partners here in the U.S. with individual students in Uganda. For only $10 a month, you can sponsor one of our primary school students, which will provide books, uniforms, breakfast, lunch, and a portion of teacher’s salaries. For $30 a month, you can support one of our graduate's secondary education (equivalent to high school in the U.S.).

Our goal through the sponsorship program is that students in financial need will be provided consistent support for their education. We also hope that donors can better see the important and direct impact of their support. Please visit our website at http://www.enduring-communities.org/sponsorship to learn more.

As always, thank you for your support and for following along, we couldn’t do the important work that we do without you.
