Happy Fall from Enduring Communities and Kito Community School in Uganda!
As students in the U.S. are returning to school for the new year, students in Uganda are switching into high gear and beginning their third and final term for the 2019 school year. Kito Community School’s local 22 member staff and its 480 students are hard at work studying and preparing for their final exams.
Here in the U.S., Enduring Communities is continuing to help empower these local leaders, support these students’ dreams, and work to ensure that the school has the resources it needs to provide a quality education to all of the children in the area. While this is no easy task, as we enter into our 7th year as an organization, we continue to believe in the power of education and the impact that it has on young minds and communities.
Many of you came alongside us during our student scholarship event earlier this year, and we are incredibly grateful. At the end of the year, we will be sending out an update for those impacted students and a special thank you to those who partnered with us. We hope that this will help to show the direct impact that your support has brought to these students’ lives.
